Our mission is to improve the health, educational opportunities and community life for all residents of Farmington by making available funding for programs and projects that provide for basic human needs, educational programs and community needs.

The Farmington Community Chest ensures that meaningful projects across our community receive the funding they need to succeed. We support programs that assist families in need, we partner with organizations that enhance our community, and we award scholarships and camperships to area students.

All support comes from individual, family, business, and foundation donations. Because our officers volunteer their time, 100% of contributions go directly to local programs.
What types of programs do you support?
We fund initiatives such as educational scholarships, the Farmington Fuel Bank, Youth Services, summer camperships, senior programs, and direct aid to families in need.

Local nonprofits, schools, and community groups can submit a Funding Request Application through our website. Applications are reviewed throughout the year by our volunteer board.
