We are a volunteer-run nonprofit founded in 1931 that funds programs and projects to improve the health, education, and quality of life for Farmington residents.
How is the organization funded?
All support comes from individual, family, business, and foundation donations. Because our officers volunteer their time, 100% of contributions go directly to local programs.
What types of programs do you support?
We fund initiatives such as educational scholarships, the Farmington Fuel Bank, Youth Services, summer camperships, senior programs, and direct aid to families in need.
Are donations tax deductible?
Yes. The Farmington Community Chest is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (ID #06-1347303), and all donations are fully tax deductible.
How can I apply for funding?
Local nonprofits, schools, and community groups can submit a Funding Request Application through our website. Applications are reviewed throughout the year by our volunteer board.
