We are a volunteer-run nonprofit founded in 1931 that funds programs and projects to improve the health, education, and quality of life for Farmington residents.  

All support comes from individual, family, business, and foundation donations. Because our officers volunteer their time, 100% of contributions go directly to local programs.

We fund initiatives such as educational scholarships, the Farmington Fuel Bank, Youth Services, summer camperships, senior programs, and direct aid to families in need.  

Yes. The Farmington Community Chest is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (ID #06-1347303), and all donations are fully tax deductible.  

Local nonprofits, schools, and community groups can submit a Funding Request Application through our website. Applications are reviewed throughout the year by our volunteer board.

Our funding supports essential programs that provide real help to local families, youth, and seniors, creating a stronger, more connected community. 

Businesses can partner with us by sponsoring events, donating, or encouraging employee volunteerism, helping both the community and their local presence grow.
