OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1931, the Farmington Community Chest was created to support and strengthen the Farmington community. Guided by a mission to support basic human needs, expand educational opportunities, and enhance community life, the organization has remained a trusted source of local support for more than nine decades.


Led entirely by volunteer officers, the Community Chest continues its tradition of service by organizing community involvement opportunities and by investing donated funds into local projects that improve the well-being of all residents.

To improve the health, educational opportunities and community life for all residents of Farmington by making available funding for programs and projects that provide for basic human needs, educational programs and community needs. 


Through strategic funding, collaboration, and volunteer engagement, we support programs and initiatives that address local needs and create meaningful, lasting change.
